Anticipating your first visit? This page will help you understand what to expect on your first visit to our friendly office!

We really pride ourselves on offering a welcoming environment to you and making you feel at home in our office. There is a lot to anticipate over with first-time office visits. It is our goal to eliminate some of that anticipation! Here is a brief description of what to expect when you walk in the door:
Paperwork: First, you will be kindly greeted at the front desk by our personnel. If you have filled out the paperwork in advance (downloaded here), your visit will be expedited. If not, you will need to fill out some paperwork. Our staff is here if you have questions.
Consultation: Next, you will be ushered into an examination room where a history and examination will be obtained. This step is necessary to determining the cause of the problem (if there is one) and concluding health status.
Further Testing: Following consultation, exams will be ordered if necessary. Common exams in the chiropractic profession include x-ray, blood work, and urine sample. Blood work and urine sample are less common. X-rays are almost always indicated to rule out underlying factors for your safety. If no further testing is required, this step will be eliminated.
Follow-up Appointment: A follow-up appointment will then be made for the next day or somewhere in that time frame. During this visit, you will receive a report of findings where Dr. Rice will discuss the conclusion of your history and examinations. Then you will receive a treatment plan based on recommendations tailored to your needs. If necessary, Dr. Rice will treat you as indicated after thorough explanation. You will then be scheduled for your next visit at the front desk.
